This route heads south from Jedburgh. A climb from the town take you to a summit with views over rolling farmland to the Cheviot Hills.

Continue down and then on undulating terrain to Oxnam and carry on through where the road gradually rises. With views across the Jed Valley the route climbs steeply up to Dolphinstone before descending to Mossburnford. The road climbs again before descending back to Jedburgh.
