Oxnam & Crailing Stats

This route initially takes you south of Jedburgh and with some steep climbing before descending to Mossburnford.  The next summit is at Dolphinstone before an easier stage to Oxnam.  The Cheviot Hills can be seen on the horizon to the east before disappearing as you dip into the valley of the Oxnam Water.  Continue straight through Oxnam and then head towards Crailinghall where the road is steep in places.  Along here you will have fine views of the Waterloo Monument on Peniel Heugh.  The road descends steeply to Crailing  and as you head back to Jedburgh the last summit of the day is at Ulston.
