A route taking you south and west of Kelso passing Bowmont Forest before turning west where you can stop at Teviot Water Garden & Smokery.

After this you cross Kalemouth suspension bridge and the route meanders for a bit along the River Teviot before heading south towards Nisbet. After this you can visit Monteviot House & Gardens or Harestanes Countryside Visitor Centre where you can stop for some refreshments. After a break you can head north passing by the Waterloo Monument on Peniel Heugh and heading towards Roxburgh. You get a fine view of Floors Castle before returning to Kelso.
